Instruction

Programs & Instruction

Private study across the string family, plus the ensembles and musicianship that turn players into musicians.

Private lessons

One instrument, one teacher, one path.

Weekly private instruction is the heart of the academy — tailored to each student’s age, level, and aspirations.

Theory & Musicianship

Sight-singing, ear training, and the architecture of music — the literacy that lets every student grow faster at the instrument.

How study works

A clear path, thoughtfully paced.

  • Placement & first lesson

We begin by understanding the student — age, experience, and goals — then match them with the right teacher and starting point.

  • Weekly lessons

Choose 30, 45, or 60-minute lessons. Most students study weekly across a fall, winter/spring, and summer term.

  • Ensembles & class

As students progress, group musicianship and chamber music add the dimensions a private lesson alone cannot.

  • Performance & assessment

Seasonal recitals, juries, and masterclasses mark progress and prepare students for auditions and exams.
