Questions

Frequently asked.

Do I need to own an instrument to begin?
No. Our lending library offers quality, properly-sized instruments for beginning students, and we’ll help you rent or purchase when the time is right.
How young can students start?
Our Foundations group class welcomes children as young as four, and most students begin private lessons between ages five and seven. Adults are welcome at any age.
How does lesson scheduling work?
You request a day and time on our Schedule page. Your teacher confirms it or proposes an alternative — you’ll get a private link to accept or reschedule with one click.
What is your makeup and cancellation policy?
Lessons cancelled with 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled into an open studio slot. Each enrolled student receives a set number of makeup lessons per term.
Do you prepare students for auditions and exams?
Yes. Faculty regularly prepare students for youth symphony, all-state, conservatory, and graded examinations, with mock auditions and performance classes.
